Technology Returns: Chromebooks and Hotspots
Students returning to in-person learning for the 2022-2023 school year are asked to return OCVSS issued Chromebooks to Room 157 at Confederation Education Centre, 1645 Woodroffe Avenue between 10am to 3pm the weeks of July 4-15th. Kindly include a note with the following information.
Students returning to OCVSS for the 2022-2023 school year may keep the device, however if your child has an Acer C740 chromebook it will need to be returned for exchange in August.
If you currently have a wifi hotspot please return it to our OCVSS office the weeks of July 4-15th. If your child is registered for an OCDSB summer learning program and requires a chromebook and/or hotspot over the summer, please call our office at (613) 596-8214. We will make a request for a replacement as the Samsung tablet hotspots are not being renewed.
Chromebooks/hotspots issued to students that are not part OCV for the 2022-23 school year, and are not returned by Sept 6th will be remotely disabled.
