Special Education Supports in the OCV
Students and parents are encouraged to communicate regularly with OCV teachers and OCV Learning Support Teacher (if/when necessary) about the implementation of a student’s IEP (accommodations, modifications, transition plans)
Members of the elementary Student Support Team (Educational Assistant, Learning Resource Teacher, and Learning Support Teacher work directly with small and large groups of students. Support schedules are flexible and responsive to student strengths and needs.
Intermediate Student Success
The Intermediate Student Success teacher supports both student engagement and achievement through direct student advocacy, mentoring and instruction, monitoring, and school-wide professional learning focused on students.
