Semester 2 begins at 9 am on Thursday, February 3rd.
You will receive welcome messages/instructions from your Semester 2 teachers on Wednesday, February 2nd by 3:00 pm.
Students were emailed a copy of their Semester 2 schedule on Monday, January 24th.

Reminders:
This semester at OCV, our classes will be 75 minutes long. Our class will be employing a variety of instructional strategies throughout the week to vary the learning. At times, students may have independent work time, group work/projects, 1:1 conferencing with the teacher or peers, quiet reading, or whole-class instruction. There will always be a teacher online in their Google Meet to guide and support students. Classes will also take occasional stretch breaks as needed, depending on the structure of that day’s lesson. Active, engaged, participation in the full 75 minutes is critical to student success and students should be encouraged to make use of all the communication tools that are available to them (text/chat, microphone, and webcam when appropriate to get the most out of their learning.

VRR
Drop-in for students who have Individual Education Plans (IEP).
When a student joins the VRR Lobby they will be greeted by an OCV staff member. The VRR is open before school (8:30am - 9am) and after school (3pm - 4pm).

Virtual Tutoring Program
FREE for OCDSB students in Grade 7-12. This program provides students with a supervised opportunity to complete, review, practice and receive support in a range of subject areas.
Mondays - Thursday 4pm - 7pm
