Dear OCV Grade 12s and Families,

Class of 2022 Important Information

• Grad Ceremonies/Commencements: All OCV students who would like to participate in an in-person event are invited to take part in the ceremony/activities of their "home" school.   By now you should have heard from your home school about plans. If not, and you want to be included in those plans, please contact the office of your home school directly to confirm the date/time and that you will be attending.

• Your OCV certificate (for those who have completed all of their graduation requirements) will be sent to your home school so you may pick it up on the day of the ceremony.

• OCV Ceremony: As a virtual school, OCV will have a modest (online-only) ceremony for grade 12s. On June 30th we will post a streamed session for all to watch. The recording will be available for 7 days to allow you to share it with family.

That's where you come in...

If you want to be included in the Class of ‘22 slideshow, we need an appropriate photo of you to include. Please complete this form no later than June 9th to ensure you are included. Students who do not upload a photo will be listed in the slideshow by name only. FORM (must be completed by student using their @ocdsb.ca account)

Questions:

1. What if I am in Grade 12, but not graduating yet (e.g. coming back to the OCDSB next year)?
   You can still be included - The slideshow is for all Grade 12 students to mark the end of the year, and is not restricted to only those earning their diploma.
    

2. How will I get my diploma/transcripts/etc?
   Students attending in-person events at their home school can pick up a certificate at the ceremony. Those not picked up will be mailed to your home**. Other documents (official diplomas, transcripts, honour roll or Silver certificates, etc) that will not be ready in time for in-school ceremonies will be mailed to you.

**If you have moved sometime in the past two years, you should check to make sure that we have the correct address in our database. Email [email protected] with your full name, and mailing address.
